    Improved testing insights with additional sample-rack test data

    The performance of today’s weathering instruments is majorly based on their mechanical chamber design and their test parameter monitoring systems. New Ci4400 has been designed in its original version of controlling test parameters - Black Standard Temperature (BST or BPT) on the sample rack and irradiance (E), chamber air temperature (CHT), and relative humidity (RH) off-rack. Correlation studies with natural weathering support the evaluation of test results and determination of acceleration factors.

    In a revolutionary version, new Ci4400 comes with Atlas’ new AIOS technology – a new sensor technology enabling the user to control all four relevant test parameters (BST, E, CHT, RH) on the sample rack. AIOS was invented to provide users a better grip on all weathering parameters on the sample rack. Improve their insights especially with respect to air temperature and relative humidity on the rack. On-rack monitoring with AIOS makes actual exposure conditions you intend to apply better controllable. AIOS provides you with more on-rack data than ever and can help you improving your testing insights, particularly with respect to air temperature and humidity.     Harmonization/Precision improvement of different Atlas weathering instruments

    Today’s weathering instrument performances can vary based on their mechanical chamber designs as well as their parameter monitoring systems. When different weathering instruments do run the same test, differences in test results can sometimes appear. Stress levels are slightly different and certain materials reflect those sometimes stronger, sometimes less. So, is there a way to bring all different instruments closer together when running the same test?

    Atlas new AIOS technology addresses exactly this point. You can take the four measurements of BST, E, CHT, and RH inside a selected reference machine and adjust the test settings for all your other machines accordingly. As a result, all your different weathering instruments will be harmonized delivering more or less the same stress.
